Known as the bridge to the Middle East and Greece, the Brindisi port has been in operation since the 8th century BC, and continues to recieve and ship out tons of goods every day. A multitude of ferry companies serve the port, which is made up of the Outer, Mid and Inner Ports. Combined, they cover a total area of more than 5 million square metres.
